Vermont Freedom of Information Act Request

under Title 1 V.S.A. Section 318

November 21, 2020

Dear Charon Goldwyn, Health Department’s Records Officer:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. 

I request that a copy of the following documents [or documents containing the following information] be provided to me:

  • A list of the Vermont health experts and their complete credentials from whom the Governor is establishing his protocols and making his COVID-19 decisions. 
  • A list of health experts outside of the state of Vermont and their complete credentials from whom the Governor is establishing his protocols and making his COVID-19 decisions.
  • All documents that examine the adverse reactions and harms of the expected COVID-19 vaccines.
  • All documents that examine the adverse reactions and harms of the flu shot.
  • All documents that explain the plans for care and compensation for those who experience adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • All documents that explain the plans for care and compensation for those who experience adverse reactions to the flu shot.
  • All documents regarding the methods of distributing a COVID-19 vaccine.
  • All documents and notes from all meetings discussing a possible statewide COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
  • All documents and notes from all meetings discussing protocols of treating COVID-19 with azithromycin, budesonide, hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and other therapeutics.
  • All documents and notes from all meetings pertaining to the Department of Health’s relationship with the Vermont Press/Media; specifically regarding an effort to minimize and censor any dissenting opinions on the Governor’s COVID-19 protocols.

I request a waiver of all fees for this request. Disclosure of the requested information to me is in the public interest because it is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the operations or activities of the government regarding the measures being taken to mitigate COVID-19, as well as the potential infringements upon the Vermont constitution, and the Constitution of the United States of America. “Officers of government are trustees and servants of the people and it is in the public interest to enable any person to review and criticize their decisions even though such examination may cause inconvenience or embarrassment.” (1 V.S.A. § 315) The citizens of Vermont have a right to receive this information, therefore, it is not in my commercial interest to request these documents.
