Everyday, I observe the war between ‘narrative’ and ‘news.’
In the original sense of the word ‘news’ meant what the people needed and wanted to hear, as opposed to a narrative that presupposes what they want to or more likely, should hear, or one that considers what we need to hear. Real news would never qualify as the ‘narrative’ or ‘press release’ the masters gave you to hear and believe.
I remember, a few short years ago, when people gathered and shared news and gossip at rural post offices, square dances, at the local cafes, or even in recent decades, at the recycling center, and ‘what’s the news?’ was oft repeated greeting when not having seen one another for awhile. ‘News’ were stories of births, deaths and anniversaries, crops that made it and failed, a local family’s tragedy, or another one’s joy or achievements. And sprinkled in among was the gossip of who was courting who, would it last, and of course, most salacious of all, was who was getting married at the end of a shotgun, a fact perhaps only important news to the child itself in time, but fact, nevertheless, when shared.
Now, births and obituaries are not considered essential ‘news’, and if they appear at all, must pay to publish, and yet, ofttimes, are the only record of either, anywhere, anymore. Census aside.
‘Politics’ — that great seller of newspapers these days — were not discussed in ‘polite company.’ In part, because it is and has always been clear they are simply a means to divide the common people against one another over made up and spoon-fed beliefs.
What a perfect foil to corral, capture and then divide citizens against one another by pushing an agenda based on their version — not the public’s — of ‘how things should be.’ And then defending their version by gaslighting, defaming, attacking, and even killing anyone who questions their means to end, let alone ‘the end.’ ‘Jobs’ being the most overused political talking point to selling some new divide around development or industry (wind farms, solar farms, 5G cell towers), and god help you if you disagree(d). Getting tarred and feathered was one of the milder responses of the stirred up obedient masses, doing the master’s nasty bit of business because it needed to be done ‘to teach a lesson.’
Thus, in the name of progress but to the detriment to the health of our environment and our bodies, mill towns were sold to the workers and entrepreneurs and mill owners, along with child labor, as the ‘next best thing and oh, look at the jobs’, while the people proceeded to indenture themselves to the company, happily and proudly taking home token wages, while going deeper and deeper into debt with invisible chains, living their whole lives just trying to climb out.
The ‘narrative’ was ‘jobs’ and ‘putting the poor to work to earn’ their right to live on this earth without toiling away for the masters was the justification. Meanwhile, the masters sat back and counted their money, and then gave it to their masters, the banksters.
Today, this ‘narrative’ hasn’t changed much. We are still told to be glad to have a job to earn slave wages that never get us out of the debt forced on us, and we become ensnared in the system. Today, everything is tied into the system and is controlled by the system, including access to life’s basics (food, water, heat, shelter) in an Orwellian scenario of capitalism run amok. And the only reason it works, is because we collectively agree it does.
If we all of a sudden decided to ditch this system and cooperate and collaborate (to build our dreams together), very shortly we would not need to use ANY money for anything, and the middle man would go lean for once, and the system that held him in place would go ‘poof’!
Its only hard living outside capitalism because we haven’t been allowed to imagine what it might be like to do so — and the beauty is, there is not just one way — there are as many ways as each person can imagine, if you haven’t lost your imagination muscles.
And it takes courage to allow belief of the right thing to do, let alone imagine or dream what could be possible. Access to the truth of this possibility through dreaming and imagining, has been systemically removed from us as our literacy has dropped over the past 50 years.
So it is very difficult, in these times, to know what the Truth is if you have not found it already within yourself. If you have, then you will ever after recognize a truth from a falsehood when you hear it or read it.
Be warned: Truth is a relentless mistress when evoked, and she does not let go until the Truth is out there. Someone who values truth and works in the news will get the facts and give it to you in straight talk, with no agenda but getting you information you’ve expressed interest in knowing, or is in your best interests to know. No vested interests need apply. Support them.
Axiom: Truth cannot exist where an agenda also exists.
‘Cui bono’ always applies when seeking out Truth outside oneself. Knowing that regurgitating a press release from a company or business is not ‘news’ but an unpaid advertisement for whoever is paying someone to send it to you, and is a crucial step towards recognizing Truth when you see or hear it. Definitely not in corporate board rooms or their press releases. The only thing they cannot lie about is their accounting (waaahlll, sorta’).
As Sascha Stone puts it so wonderfully, “This is a collective dream we’re in. Therefore, dream wisely.”
Knowing and recognizing what is Truth is the key to knowing what one can even consider dreaming in a dream together. One quickly sees the lies that are perpetrated on us daily, the ‘narrative’, and one eventually understands the Agenda (2030).
I know many of you reading this believe that capitalism is the only system possible and have given up on your version of the dream because its not a ‘capital’ idea.
Well, artists, writers and musicians and dancers in all corners of the world, would beg to differ with you. They have and do made their own rules having lived as they pleased in or outside the system — always on their own terms, and making art their lives. Literally, making their dreams live.
So it is possible. You just have to believe it, and do it. It can come in all kinds of forms or any form you want it to. Do no harm and the Prime Directive, the only rules.
Observe how fast things change: As soon as you put pen to paper, brush to canvas, hands and fingers to instruments, and toes and feet to the floor, you move into a new space where everything begins, and that will lead you eventually, to the Truth of yourself, and remembering why you are here.
We should each be our own authors, sculptors, choreographers and conductors. Unless we choose to give away that authority to some one or thing outside ourselves, then, the script, the narrative, is no longer our own and is being written by someone who knows nothing about you, and could give a rat’s tin can alley about your life, your needs, your desires, your dreams. In fact, if you have any of those, you are a liability to them, because its distracting you from your work.
As I write, this fight between script and narrative choreographers has reached a tyranny-level of censorship on information like we have never seen before, and given that its all controlled through media and via the internet, meant only to control the narrative, and flow of information that undermines their narrative (heavily censored reports of empty hospitals, other causes of ‘the really bad cold’ doctors explaining viruses – information which blows any legitimacy for this current lockdown, and connections to deployment of 5G networks concurring with deaths), what lies ahead, how we want this dream to end, is at the heart of choosing who we want to be, next.
Because, who we are now, is beyond insane, bordering on psychopathic. I mean who kills the planet and each other for profit? I question their humanity.
All of this is asking us what kind of person we want to be: authentic, or a cutout for the masters to deploy as they will it.
Is your free will still intact? Then there is only one answer to the challenge: Choose wisely. Your choices define who you become, and the world you create. You can always begin again, as many times as it takes, if you have to. But Lady Truth demands relentless allegiance, once you take her sword.
Then, and only then, is the difference between ‘narrative’ and ‘fake news labeling,’ and ‘news’ seen clearly. One benefits someone you never met. The other is something you want to share with your neighbor because you care about them, and they should know. But this sort of news is as dead as the bees are, in Vermont. The narrative is controlled by the State and its watchdogs, and now penalties are going into place to fine THE PEOPLE who are breaking the mandatory ‘stay at home’ order, now entering our fourth week of quarantine for, what may just be something caused not by any ‘bug’ but by an accumulation of toxins and our bodies are trying to get rid of them, violently.
Its time to grow up and look outside the box. We need to listen to the experts and realize that mass isolation is not the key. Keeping ‘at risk’ patients free from contagion makes sense. Shutting down a country, does not.
I’ve looked behind the curtain people, and the white ass of naked truth ain’t pretty, but its necessary to know the source of the fart. Cuz it stinks in here!
Over and out, from some place in the woods.
