Publisher’s Note: Four years after the Cambridge Analytica/Facebook meltdown, the biggest hacking scandal of the 2016 US presidential “election,” Facebook announces it will continue to allow behavioral micro-targeting and political propaganda on their 2 billion + user platform, according to the New York Times. Not surprising, given that delivering FB audiences to paid advertisers through surveillance and data collection is Facebook’s business model. But troubling and worth noting here.
